At our Repeating History event, Dr. Miller will share her story in a keynote address, followed by an intimate discussion table titled “Into the Past with Dr. Erica Miller”, where guests can ask her personal questions about resilience, propaganda, joy, and the power of human connection in the face of evil.
Dr. Chris Hoeckley will open Repeating History with a keynote address that explores how ethics, education, and historical memory intersect in times of moral crisis. Drawing on decades of teaching and public philosophy, he will also lead a discussion table titled “Law, Obedience, and the Ethics of War”, inviting participants to reflect on individual conscience, civic responsibility, and the philosophical roots of dissent in the face of systemic injustice.
